Meet Dee & Eddie
Hi, I’m Dee, and this is Eddie. Like many good stories, this one starts with a dog.
Eddie has always loved being outdoors. Whether we’re exploring the beautiful countryside around Basingstoke or heading further afield for adventures in the mountains of Wales or the Lake District, he’s happiest with his nose to the ground, discovering somewhere new.
He’s a sociable boy who loves company, and I wanted to create a life where we could both spend our days doing what we love most — being outdoors, exploring new places and spending time with dogs. So I made a change.
Building a business around what matters
Eddie’s Pupventures was created from a simple idea: dogs deserve walks that are personal, enjoyable and built around who they are. By creating a business that puts dogs first, starting with my own, I can give Eddie the adventures he loves while helping other dogs enjoy calm, enriching walks and plenty of time outdoors.
Every dog has their own personality. Some love charging ahead and exploring every new scent, while others prefer a slower pace and a little more reassurance. I take the time to understand what makes each dog happy, so every walk feels like their own special adventure.
A family adventure
I’m also mum to a wonderful six-year-old son, and one of the unexpected joys of this journey has been sharing these adventures with him. After the school run, he loves hearing about the walks we’ve been on, discovering where we’ve explored and seeing the photos of all the dogs we’ve met along the way.
It has become a special part of our daily routine and a reminder of why this way of life means so much to us.
More than just a walk
When your dog joins Eddie and me, they are never just another booking. They become part of our walking family. I keep my walks personal and relaxed, with no large groups and no rushed schedules. Instead, your dog gets time to explore, build confidence and enjoy the outdoors alongside a familiar face and a friendly companion.
For me, this business has never just been about walking dogs. It’s about creating a life centred around family, giving Eddie the life he deserves and helping other dogs experience the same joy that makes him so happy. I feel incredibly lucky that this is what I get to call work.

As well as caring for every dog with the same attention and kindness I give Eddie, I believe it’s important that you feel completely confident leaving your dog in my care.
I’m fully insured, hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and have completed the Pet First Aid for Pet Professionals Level 3 qualification, giving you peace of mind that your dog is cared for by someone who takes their safety and wellbeing seriously.
